How the program works:
Group lessons are 30 minutes and held every Thursday during the school day, except when school is closed or canceled. Your child will be placed in a group and it will either be Thursday, it will not rotate between days or times. The times and days will be set.
The schedule will take place during the lunch/recess time on Thursday, so ideally no classes will be missed; group placement is based on playing ability, including those registering for the first year.
Students must bring their instrument to school each Thursday and take it home afterward. Weekly practice should total 60–90 minutes and can be completed whenever it best fits your family’s schedule.
Instruments allowed for each grade:
Fourth through Eighth Grade: violin-viola-cello-flute-clarinet-saxophone-trumpet-trombone-snare drum-xylophone
Instruction will tentatively start on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
Registration ends October 31, 2026.
If you do not register your child, they will not be placed in the band program, you must register your child and choose a payment plan that works best for your family.
If you need to register more than one child please do two registrations but a 35% discount will be given for families with more than 2 children.
