How the program works:
Group lessons are 30 minutes and held every Tuesday during the school day, except when school is closed or canceled. The schedule rotates so students do not miss the same class each week; group placement is based on playing ability, including for beginners.
Students must bring their instrument to school each Tuesday and take it home afterward. Weekly practice should total 60–90 minutes and can be completed whenever it best fits your family’s schedule.
Instruments allowed for each grade:
Second Grade: piano-recorder- xylophone
Third Grade: piano- violin-viola-cello-flute- clarinet- trumpet-snare drum- xylophone
Fourth through Eighth Grade: piano-guitar-violin-viola-cello-flute-clarinet-saxophone-trumpet-trombone-snare drum-xylophone
Instruction will start on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Registration ends February 1, 2026.
If you do not register your child, they will not be placed in the music program, you must register your child and chose a payment plan that works best for your family.
If you need to register more than one child please do two registrations but a discount will be given for families with more than 2 children.
Please note that picking a payment plan DOES NOT register your child. You must register them AND chose a payment plan.
